Leggoh JohVera, born in Calidonia, Panama, and raised in an Army family, is a legendary figure in the house ballroom scene, recognized as a professional voguer, performance artist, house ballroom commentator, event producer, and community leader. In 2019, JohVera launched the acclaimed OTA event (Open to All), which has since evolved into an academy and an entertainment company supporting talents within the House Ballroom Scene. August 2021 marked the official designation of Leggoh as a ballroom legend during OTA's first annual event in Times Square. Leggoh has been an active participant in the ballroom scene since 2010, collaborating with celebrities and organization to put the ballroom scene on the map and give its members proper recognition. Recognized for continuous contributions to the community, Leggoh JohVera is a beloved leader known for giving back and creating opportunities for fellow members of the ballroom scene community.
